Brook Kerr was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on November 21, 1973. She was raised by her mother and she has two older half-brothers. Brook along with her husband and son moved from Indianapolis to Los Angeles in 1996 to pursue a career as an actress.

While in Los Angeles Brook studied acting and worked as a waitress at Skybar. Brook eventually landed tv guest starring roles in "Moesha," "The Wayans Bros.," "The Steve Harvey Show," "Smart Guy" and "City Guys." In 1999 she landed the role of Whitney Russell in the daytime drama "Passions."

Brook and her husband actor Chris Warren are the parents of actor Chris Warren, Jr. Brook is a sports enthusiast who enjoys ballet, volleyball, basketball, bowling and ballroom dancing.
