Gloria Reuben was born on June 9, 1964 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Her mother is black and her father is white. One of six children, Gloria's brother is Broadway actor Denis Reuben. She studied ballet, jazz and music technique and theory at the Canadian Royal Conservatory.

Gloria has made numerious guest appearances in such shows as "The Young Riders," "The District," "Silk Stockings," "Homicide: Life on the Street" and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit." She had a recurring role in "The Flash."

Gloria gained widespread recognition in 1994 and 1995 when she starred along side Jean Claude Van Damme in the movie "Timecop" and when she landed the role of Jeanie Boulet in the tv series "E.R." Gloria's been nominated several times for Emmy and Golden Globe Awards.

After leaving E.R. in 1999 Gloria embarked on a music career singing backup for the legendary Tina Turner during her Twenty Four Seven Tour.

Gloria has also appeared on the stage in the Off Broadway production of "The Vagina Monologues." She appeared in the Showtime miniseries "Anne Rice's The Feast of All Saints" and she was a regular in the tv series "The Agency." Gloria starred in the first season of the Lifetime tv series "1-800-MISSING," now titled "MISSING."

Gloria has been married to music executive Wayne Isaak since 1999.
