Born in Schenectady, New York on April 21, Leslie Silva is a graduate of The Juilliard School and The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. She made her professional stage debut in a 1995 Shakespeare Theater production of "Macbeth" in Washington, D.C. and starred in Sam Shepard's one-act play "Chicago" for New York's Signature Theater in 1996. She appeared Off-Broadway in "Edmond" and starred as Helena in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis.

Leslie's television credits include guest appearances in the CBS sitcom "Cosby" in 1997, as a nun in a 1998 two-part episode of NBC's police drama "Homicide: Life on the Street," "E.R," "Gideonís Crossing," "Cold Case" and "CSI: Miami." Leslie had a recurring role in "The Agency. She was a regular in the NBC drama series "Providence" as Dr. Helen Reynolds during itís first season, appeared in the pilot episode of the UPN series "Girlfriends" and she starred in the Showtime cable series "Odyssey 5."
