Lisa Arrindell Anderson was born and raised in New York City where she attended the exclusive High School of the Performing Arts and The Julliard School. She was also a member of the Alvin Ailey dance program where she had a scholarship for six years.

Lisa’s film credits include “One Good Cop,” “Livin’ Large,” “Clockers,” “The Second Chance” and “Madea’s Family Reunion.” Her telefilm credits include “Having Our Say: The Delany Sisters’ First 100 Years” which was based on the book Having Our Say written by Amy Hill Hearth, the HBO Emmy Award winning “A Lesson Before Dying” based on the best selling novel by Ernest J. Gaines and “Disappearing Acts.”

Lisa has guest starred in “The Cosby Show” and “The Practice. She had recurring roles in “In The House” and “The Steve Harvey Show.”

In her spare time Lisa enjoys reading, home decorating, cooking, jogging and spending time with her two children.
