Persia White was born in Miami, Florida to a black Bahamian father and a
white American mother. She spent most of her childhood in the Bahamas
and Florida. She started acting at the Coconut Grove Playhouse in Miami.
Persia has appeared in such films as "Suddenly," "Frankie D." and
"Red Letters."
Persia's made guest appearances in such tv shows as "NYPD Blue,"
"Malibu Shores," "The Burning Zone," "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" and
"The Steve Harvey Show." She was regular in the tv series "Breaker
High" and the daytime drama "Another World." Persia is currently starring in the UPN tv
series "Girlfriends."
Persia is also a singer, musician and songwriter. In her spare time she performs with her group
called XEO3. She describes their music as heavy rock with an angst-ridden groove.
