Rachel True was born in New York City on November 15, 1966 but grew up in upstate New York.

Rachel made her acting debut in the tv series "The Cosby Show." She has also guest starred in "Hangin' With Mr. Cooper," "Renegade," "Boston Common," "Dream On," "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" and "Thea." Rachel had recurring roles in "The Drew Carey Show" and "Once and Again." She can now be seen in the UPN series "Half and Half" with Valarie Pettiford, Telma Hopkins and Essence Atkins.

Rachel made her film debut in "CB4" but it was the movie "The Craft" that brought her to everyone's attention. She's gone on to appear in such films as "Half Baked," "Nowhere" and "New Best Friend."
