Stacey Dash was born in The Bronx, New York on January 20, 1966.

After appearing in numerous commercials she made her acting debut in the television movie "Farrell For The People" in 1982. She’s appeared in such tv shows as "The Cosby Show," "The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air" and "C.S.I." Stacey had a recurring role in the tv series "St. Elsewhere" and she starred in the critically acclaimed yet short lived tv series "TV 101" in 1988.

Stacey’s film roles include "Moving," "Mo’ Money" and "Renaissance Man" but it was her role as the Beverly Hills princess Dionne in the hit film "Clueless" co-starring Alicia Silverstone that brought Stacey to everyone’s attention. Stacey would eventually reprise her role in the tv series "Clueless."

Stacey, who has a son Austin from a previous relationship, has been married to Brian Lovell (they met on the set of "Clueless" where he was an electrician) since July 1999. She is the sister of Internet wunderkind Darien Dash, CEO of DME Interactive Holdings and the cousin of Damon Dash, head of Roc-A-Fella Records where she’s an Assistant Producer.
