Tamala Jones was born on November 12, 1974 in Pasadena, CA. Tamala was raised with her two younger brothers by her mother and grandmother. She studied ballet, violin, piano and the cello during her childhood.
Tamala made her acting debut in the tv series "E.R" and her film debut in "How To Make An American Quilt." She's made guest appearances in such tv shows as "The Fresh Prince of Bel -Air," "JAG," "City Of Angels," "Love Inc." and "The Parent Hood." Tamala had recurring roles in "Veronica's Closet" and "One On One." She was a regular in the tv series "Dangerous Minds," "For Your Love" and "The Tracy Morgan Show."
Tamala is a familiar face to moviegoers, appearing in such films as "The Wood," "The Ladies Man" and "The Brothers."
Tamala lives in Los Angeles.
