Tangi Miller was born in Miami, Florida on February 28, 1974. The oldest of six children, she graduated from Alabama State University with a degree in Marketing. After spending her off time in theater productions she started to focus on an acting career. She earned a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of California at Irvine. She also studied at the Royal National Theatre in London and the Alabama Shakespeare Festival.

Tangiís appeared in various telefilm and feature films including "Playing With Fire," "Rhinos," "The Other Brother" and "Phantom Force."

Tangiís tv guest appearances include "The Shield," "Fastlane," "The Division," "Cold Case," "Half & Half" and "The District." In 1998 Tangi landed the role of college student Elena Tyler in the WB hit series "Felicity."

Tangi lives in Los Angeles where she enjoys African/Caribbean dance, yoga and gardening.
