Perry's 'Madea' Lures 'Felicity' Co-Star


LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com)- Tangi Miller ("Felicity") and Keke Palmer (TNT's "The Wool Cap") have joined the cast of Tyler Perry's "Madea's Family Reunion," a follow-up to the writer-director-star's surprise hit "Diary of a Mad Black Woman."

Like "Diary," "Reunion" is based on Perry's play and finds Mable "Madea" Simmons, Perry's pistol-packing granny, trying to organize a wedding, funeral and family reunion at the same time. Produced for Lions Gate, the film will also feature Boris Kodjoe, Lynn Whitfield, Blair Underwood and Henry Simmons.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Miller will play the less-loved of two sisters, while Palmer will be the foster daughter of Perry's character. (Read More...)
