Theresa Randle was born in Los Angeles, CA on December 27, 1967. At a young age she got her training in dance and acting.

After a few years in music videos, TV commercials and local stage productions, Theresa entered films in the late 1980s. She made her acting debut in the film "Maid To Order." She’s also appeared in "King Of New York," "The Five Heartbeats," "Jungle Fever" and "Sugar Hill" but it was her lead role in the Spike Lee film "Girl 6" as a phone sex worker that brought her to mainstream attention.

Theresa has made guest appearances in the tv shows "Seinfeld" and "A Different World."
